Default Starview 4 - questions

I have a starview "the box" pvr been using it for awhile, love it but it's lacking HD functionality, so I am considering SV4, but have some questions I will post here since there's no official support for this.

1.) It says it upscales normal picture to higher res, good for LCD/Plasma tv's etc, is this true, and is it any good?

2.) with my "the box pvr" I can record to internal disk and upload via usb to my pc, this box advertises to use an external usb hard-disk. Have they removed the option for pc link via usb? (why would people want more cables and junk attached externally??)

3.) is there an option for an internal hard-disk like thebox pvr does?

4.) is the video recorded in the same format as the previous TheBoxPVR, and is the recorded HD channels a good quality encode?

If I loose all this great functionality just to receive some HD channels, I think I will skip this model for now until they grow some brain cells and develop something thats acutally BETTER than thebox pvr.

If anybody can shed some light on this it would be most appreciated,

thanks
