Question tt 1500c not picking up any channels

I have installed a tt 1500c card and DVBviewer on my VMC PC and tried the uk bruteforce transponder files and others sent for the l'pool VM area but picked up no VM signal or channels.

I have installed a Cable TV amp - and am now getting a improved signal during the scan but the dbvviewer software is still not detecting any channels on the the UK Cable or UK bruteforce transponder lists or any of the transponder list the kind guys on this site had sent me.

I am at a loss of what to try next. any suggestions anyone?

Default Re: tt 1500c not picking up any channels

Personally i would ditch the cable booster. I would then unplug everything else from the feed - start at the brown box outside and remove all the splitters so u have a proper clean feed and then get a dbox transponder file for your area and get progdvb** and scan the frequency and symb rate that the bbc basic channels are on. See if it finds that. Signal boosters can be hit and miss. I have experienced a low signal that is made worse by boosters. Also splitters can corrode if they are outside and old and reduce quality. See if it works with all else out and then try splitting carefully and see what happens.
** i said progdvb as it is simple and no issues. Dvbdream and the like seem more complex to me! Just use progdvb and manual frequency scan!
