I'm having similar problems with my 5100 now. It's continually saying "ranging", I know this is a t3 timeout, and have looked around on the forums for a solution, to no avail. I have the correct frequency (402750000) for belfast, but the status isnt changing
would it be mac or config file related?thanks in advance. |

thanks ever so much, I tried an old mac that I had and it works a treat. now all i need is to use dhcp force and scan for config filenames. is there a way to use haxorware to download the actual files for autoserving?

Got the ranging problem sorted out m'man. just changed the mac address and bang on, it came up operational. for the macs that i have tried, they all come up with that stupid activate broadband page. I'm just wondering if autoserving a custom config will fix that problem. I know that I should try another mac, but the mac I'm using works on another modem on the opposite side of town :| |

This is where I'm having the problems mate. I know how to set up autoserve, it's pretty straight forward (browse, upload file to modem... easy), I have tried the haxorware download manager and it times out from the tftp server, so I cant get to download the config file. I dont think that DHCP force lets me download them. Does anyone know how to get them or know of a link to download the files from? Thanks again |
