Hi, ive just cut talkback on a pace 4001 box, just wondering how to check if its actually been done properly. When i turn on the box its just says Tune, but in the engineer menu the net id is all correct. But i cant seem to find the talkback option in the engineer menu. Also when the box is in "tune" the bottom led is the only one on.

There is a "stuck in TUNE" guide in Downloads under PACE. You can check talkback on the box by pressing Settings (number 8 on the remote), going to Technical stuff (number 6 on the remote) and check that Return Path under DHCP Status says off. You can only do this once the box has booted up.

Thanks, well before trying out instructions in the guide i just cleaned the simm and now the update has worked, freeview channels work, talkback is cut

. Only problem i have now is i think the led simm i have is broken. Its from TMC, in switch position 1 all leds light up, switch 2 shows a conbination, the midde (although only a 2 way switch)shows me the ird, and halfway between the middle and position 1 adds extra leds to the ird which i dont think is the first half of the box key.

I've never used an LED SIMM mate, I used an RS232 Flashester to get the BK from the PACE 4001 I modded for someone.
