I have had TomTom working with internal GPS on N95 for quite some time and have come to rely on it quite heavily.

Now I have renewed my phone contract, they sent me an N96 as upgrade.

The same software installed on the N95 does not work on the N96, it just hangs.

I did find a TomTom version that works on the N96 (TomTom_Mobile_v6_01_S60v3.sis) but it does not have the bt.sisx or GPSd.jar with it, hence will not connect to internal GPS.

Does anyone have this working with internal GPS on N96?
Does anyone know of updated bt and GPSd that works with N96?

tomtom for symbian is rubbish really old you (version 6 at best same for maps) want Garmin XT mate

Hi, thanks for quick response.

I know tomtom is old, but would prefer it as I can transfer all my existing destinations and pois from N95.

However, i dont mind to try something else as long as it works ok.

Does Garmin XT work with N96 internal GPS?

I'm trying desperately to sort out sat nav on my N96 and was wondering if you managed to post the instructions as I can't find 'em.
I followed your instructions for softmodding my wii and was very impressed by how easy they were to follow so I'm naturally interested in giving your N96 Sat Nav instructions a go.
