Default no signal

hi i have had my eurovox max v box for almost 2 years with no problems a couple of days ago the picture started breaking up and no signal logo comes on for a few seconds then the picture comes back on broken up again if i put my original box back there is no issue with the picture any ideas please

have you tried your box at someone elses house? Is your original receiver modded?

have encountered this problem before and is due to low signal strength.
the way to correct this is either to get your signal upped or beleive it or not use a sv2 or sv3 as they seem to work better with weak signals

i believe that, it seems the EV's like a nice strong signal to work properly...

you could try shortening your coaxial cable if you have excess slack any where...

the signal through coaxial degrades slightly over time... I've no idea if two years is enough to cause that to happen though...

can i get anything to boost my signal cheaper than buying a new box

also if you search for catv booster on ebay you should find two types, a silver one and a yellow on... apparently the yellow one is best...
