cant access my routers settings to secure

ok, i have cable modem 20gig, my son has xbox 360 hooked to net and daughter has pc all connected wireless trough zyxel router. the problem is when i was fixing a laptop for someone there wirless can conect to my router. i need to lock this up as half the peeps living around me can also do this. when i type in to my IE address bar http://192.168.1.1 the login page apppears. i use the password provided and all i can seeis the page blinking and bact to original page.

now i belive i have done this and still get the same thing happening. maby i have a password changed but i dont think so. so resetting this router sets passwords back to default. password 1234 username admin. i tryed this and still no luck. any ideas guys.

you could try using firefox to get the page working properly.

This is an old post so I dont know if you got it sorted but you could try admin for the password, on some routers 1234 will only give you read acsess
