Have you got any satellite equipment yet?
It's probably wise to invest in a motorized satellite dish, I'd suggest something like a 1M Orbital dish, or if that's too big an 85cm Fracarro Penta dish, you are legally allowed a 1M dish without planning permission, depending on local rules. If you're lucky enough to have a south facing garden, and an unobstructed line of sight, you can mount your dish at ground level, this makes installation, and maintenance, a lot easier. Once you have the dish, and location, sorted you can consider a receiver, there are too many to go into now so you need to decide what you want, High Definition, recording abilities, etc.. Then you need to work out which package you would like to subscribe to, there are many that show EPL football, some with English Audio, but subscribing outside that country is more expensive, a couple of good packages are Sky Germany, formerly Premiere, 19E, and Canal Digital, 1W, but there are many others. Have a read through the sticky threads, in the satellite section, and post back with what you're interested in and how much approximately you're willing to pay. |

800 is about right for the superior packages - if you want Sky Italia HD that ones about 1200!!

The biggest choice of matches is probably provided by Showtime on 7W but the dish size for that one is prohibitive in most areas of the uk.
