had you tried changing anything on it, i.e. the firmware?
Are you getting any picture to your TV? |

I saw a post saying there's a reset button inside of the boxes next to the tuner... if you're sure the box is fried you could try that... its a little silver square with a little black round button on it...

it could be one of your capacitors has blown but you can try this method thanks to jamiejamie230
reflash the firmware back to box connect your box to PC but leave the power off to the box (with the lid off) start the download process hold the reset button down (keep it pressed down) whilst applying power to box release the button and hopefully the firmware will start downloading take extra care, don't want you going up in a flash of smoke |

have you tried the reset method because it has been known to work in the past
yes you have to desolder it and solder new one in (if you search dead eurovox you will get plenty of posts with similar problems) have a read of this post C14 Capacitor help!! there's a picture in this post Dead Eurovox |
