Hi and thanks for a good forum.
Ive progressed from openbox x800 with supersport card onto a loaned technomate 3150 with a usb patched to open nagrovision 2 to open 3pm kick offs etc.
I was just about to take the plunge and buy a tecno 6000 series hd as i do like a quality picture.
I was told a box like an azbox was linux?? Based and so needed complicated card sharing.
However i see from some of your threads you seem to say that nagra2 will soon be switched off and there will be no patches for other encryptions available.
Can you please advise before i buy.

Be aware Azboxes are still running beta software - its still under regular development, so it may be worth holding off a few months to see how things develop with them.

The way forward is via genuine subscription (card share or your own card). The card sharing capabilities of Azboxes are still more or less unknown.

Im keeping an eye on the azbox as an hd replacment the the tm9100

CCcam is now said to be working

the thing putting me off atm is the lack of 3rd party images if the likes of edg and ur were writing images then I would be more happy to spend the cash

in fact there has not been an offical image released for this box in some time
