ok . can anyone help me out with this boxkey reader , just want to no how it works. anyone give me quick run down.

You mean the exteep reader? If so, it basically lets you read the Box Key from a saved exteep.hex which you read from a Funcard or ATmega .

i downloaded it from (all in one cable tool kit) it says BK and IRD viewer i just thought you put in ird and press copy then you get boxkey number. but nothing happens. (chris 2000 BOXKEY READER)

Like blakey said it only reads you saved exteep, if you have pace 1000 and you need to get BK then you can try pace database m8 that’s when you use the IRD to get the BK, but it only works for pace 1000 and very few other.

one box is pace and other sagem, both same ,about the size of old vcr. serial numbers on back.

The PACE can be used (depending on the model, cable models I know of are 1000, 2000, 4000, 4001 - check the sticker underneath). The Sagem one won't work I don't think as if I am not mistaken, it is a box supplied to Chorus customers in Ireland.

According to google, thats an On digital receiver from the olden days! Good luck finding the BK from that Other receivers require you to jtag/you can check the database
