just got one of theese today and dont have a clue how to set it up dont know if it needs an update or just settings fixed could someone please help

mate, all you need to do is connect the box to the computer, update the frimware and scan, where did you buy it? some suppliers update the frimware for you!

i got it from yourcablebox dot co dot uk i read something that i can update it through a usb stick is this correct

thats correct, put the firmware on the usb stick, but the box on stand by, plug the stick in and power up the box

Yes, download the latest update from the 'Private FTA' section on this forum.

Rename the file to flash.tbn, put it on a USB stick and then reboot the box using the switch at the back of the unit. You should see it go from 1% to 100% on the display.

After this you should have all channels, let us know if you need more help.

i done a scan there and im getting the channels like bbc1 bbc2 n that when that happend on my old box i used to put the codes in so i guess i need an update can u point me in the direction to get the latest firmware
