Default FreesatFromSky Cards replacement

If you purchased a Sky FTV card after 1st May 2006 you are entitled to a free replacement card.
Unlike the new cards for Sky subscribers, Freesat replacement cards will not be sent out automatically, but via an onscreen message saying the card is due to expire and to contact Sky. If you do nothing then you will loose access to any FTV channels.
Sky Freesat customers have to either call Sky or apply for a new card online before the end of September 2009.

You can apply online at:https://mysky.sky.com/replacecard/index.jspJust enter your viewing card number and it will tell you if you are eligible for a replacement.

If you purchased your FTV card before 1st May 2006 you'll have to pay £20 for a new card.

If you bought the full FreesatfromSky package, then you are eligible for a replacement card, within five years,of installation.

So if you have bought any FTV cards or bought any second hand digiboxes, that came with a viewing card,it would be a good idea to check if you are eligible for a new card.

The bit on the website about not getting channel 5 is wrong, you don't need a card to get it and in stays in the EPG now without a card.

actually after trying again on a spare box you still need a card for channel 5 on a sky box. For some reason my sky boxes are holding on to channel 5 when you pull the card out.

Its because,at present the new FTA version(with epg info),now on the epg,is the region 2 version, covering South(excluding London), Midlands, East, Wales, Northern Ireland, having moved transponder.
