Hey, i was hoping somebody could help me out. I have had my box for little over 24 hours and i have noticed a couple of things:
Randomly, the entire screen will shift a few pixels either side, its only a minor shift but its very annoying. And it happens very often. Also, when i put the cable into the back of the box, there is a humming sound constantly, i think it might be my dodgy wiring. Its running off a splitter provided by NTL a few years back. Thanks for reading, any insight into my problem is much appreciated ![]() Richard |

hi mate.not sure about your pixelating issue but the humming noise doesn't sound normal.maybe you could try a new good quality splitter and maybe new coaxial cables too.is worth a try and could be the reason behind your pixelating problem too?!good luck.let me no how you get on.

as an addition to earthworms good advice
you need to go through a process of elimination so disconnect everything first check out all cable connections (remake them) remove any splitters if possible connect up to TV with scart only and see what its like |

that itself could be an issue.it probably works out more expensive but i got my splitter and coax,s already made up from maplins.just had to buy a push in connector to go on end to go into eurovox.p.s.if there's a screwfix near you, apparently they're cheaper but im still a bit green so went to maplins and just basically told assistant what i wanted to do(obviously dint mention the eurovox)just a 2nd cable box and he fixed me up.p.p.s. apologies for waffling!

I figured out what was causing both problems.
I had the cable wire running directly from the splitter (outside in the little box) straight to the eurovox box. I found a TV/DATA isolator which i thought i would give a try, and it worked. It even solved the pixel problem i was having. Cant believe it worked. Cheers for your help guys Richard |
