bought a dbox 2 from ebay (premium-dbox)

hello guys i boughht a dbox 2 from ebay

seller user name: premium-dbox

has anyone here bought dbox from this seller before? i won the dbox on August 14 and paid him same day, than his account got closed somehow..

than on august 21 he emailed me this "Hi Krumesh. I would like to inform you that i have posted your dbox. I must excuse me for a delivery delay but it seems that ebay dont like to use their plattform for selling dboxes. Because the listings were canceled (i couldnt see the sold items) i had to restore all informations manually and this tooked time. I used dhl for delivery and the parcel number is...........Again, sorry for any inconveniece which ebay has caused. regards, udo

he gave me a parcel number aswell, but i can't track the item didn't work, i have tired every services on DHl website with that parcel number buy it didn't work. So i still have't recieved the item he said 3-5 days for it to arrvive.. i have created a dispute on paypal now..

just wanted to know that has anyone on here ever bought from this seller?

Paypal are usually on the buyers side mate , i have had a few disputes in the past , it took a month each time but i got my money back in the end. Even though you have lodged a dispute it isn't a claim as yet , to avoid extra waiting time go into Paypal a day later and escalate it to a claim which make it official as Paypal won't get involved untill a claim is made. Not alot of people are aware of this a can loose out.

When escalating to a claim , Tell Paypal that the ebay users account is no longer registered , and that a tracking number provided is false / not recognised. As many facts including emails etc would strengthen your case and could make the process quicker

allredy have put the claim..hope my box turns up tomorow cuz i really want a dbox 2, is dreambox 600 same as dbox like you can play mpe files from the computer to the tv? thanks for the advice guys/.

ive had similar hapn and the germans are usually good to their word..
give it time, i think it will arrive.
try thr german site of dhl to use the tracking number,, its not an abvious place, you could even email the seller to get the actual link for the tracking site.
ebay have thrown sellers off i have purchased from before and also deleted the auctions so i have no record left of them apart from paypal and the boxes have always arrived!
have patience... seen this before and box arrives safe and sound eventually! getting the claim started is a good safe escape route just in case.

Its possible that they used a DHL reseller where you can track at the reseller's site only. Whats your tracking number? I myself have sent things through a DHL reseller, an Interlink reseller, and in an unfortunate incident a FedEx reseller. For both DHL/Interlink I had to track the items on the resellers site as the original site would not accept it. Most likely because customer will ask for a tracking number and where it can be tracked so the seller gives the tracking number and a link the reseller's website which means that the customer now knows where to get cheaper postage and may use the reseller in the future instead of going to DHL, Interlink etc.. directly(sorry for the repetition)

thanks guys.. the seller used dhl for delivery and the parcel number is 968533941856. could you people check the tracking website for me becuase it don't work for me.

mate that ref number comes up with nothing if i where you start the paypal charge back today no messing and if the box ever turns up you can cancel it,
once started the full displute the seller has 10 days to answer or you will get a full refund,dont let any more time pass mate,you can always cancel the dispute,the reason to be fast is if the money is in his paypal account it will get held,if theres no money but he has a bank card to the account the money will get held,if he closes the account paypal might now might refund you but mate just start it today

also i just checked this guys profile he got kicked the fu*k out of ebay as well,what ever you do put that dispute in today
