Default Running Two Eurovox's & Cabling

Hi, hoping someone here can help with some advice please.

I currently run a eurovox max v downstairs with no problem with a two way splitter, the other is used for my internet. I also have a freeview sky running upstairs from downstairs using one of those home extension kits.

I am thinking of getting rid of my sky box and getting a ev7000HD and moving the Max upstairs and putting the ev7000 downstairs.

Questions are, will there be any real loss of quality if I use a 3 way splitter and can I use the existing sky extension cable to connect to my splitter and Max v upstairs (saves me having to remove old cable and put up new one).

Any advice appreciated.

All that will happen is a 3 way splitter will make the signal strength slightly weaker, but if you're signal strength is more than good now then it shouldnt make any difference, picture quality will not be effected.. The sky cable should work, Its a case of try it and see, if the signal degrades too much over the long run then you may need to try a booster to boost it along the long run of cable, or replace the cable if that sky extension cable is cheap thin rubbish that was used purely for an RF signal ..

Cheers for the advice, I'll give it a try tonight by connecting the sky cable to my existing splitter and taking the eurovox upstairs and report back.

Just wanted confirmation that my theory might possibly work before attempting to try, got my sky hidden in a false fireplace and its a pain to get to.

I use a subbed modem, a modded 2110C and a V+ and I don't have any signal loss. I get the odd glitch here and there but I can deal with that .
