i have the new eurovox ex7000hd and have all the normal free channels up ok, however channels like sky sports and movies are scrambled. does anyone know how to get these unscrambled

this probably sounds stupid but what does flashing it mean and how do i do this. i did download from the bigmaq toolbar (120309) onto a usb stick and connected it into back of box but i dont know if it transferred the data or not.
any help greatly appreciated

usb pen with flash.tbn file on it into the back of the box,turn the box of at the back at turn back on, the box should then download and install from the pen drive with the firmware giving you all channels.

i did this already mate, but virtually all the channels still scrambled. i downloaded the update 120309 and checked that it was on my box and it is showing as 'application.tbn'
im at a complete loss on what else to do. all i can watch is bbc and itv

make sure the file you put on the usb pen is called "flash.tbn " if it has numbers on it, delete them.

i did this also mate. after i downloaded it, i renamed it flash.tbn before i put it on the eurovox but i just right clicked on it to rename it. is that correct or did i need to do it some other way.

you may have already done this but just checking. When the scan had completed did you set the ev to a premium channel so as to allow it to unscramble the channels? This can take a few minutes so just leave it on the premium channel till it shows a picture.

yes mate, i left it on ss1 for 45mins but channel just remained with scrambled message. i dont even think the firmware uploaded as last update showed as 14 jan 2009. what normally happens on screen when firmware is uploading?
