Default autosort firmware

Evening all,just a quick one,now i know i can upload/download the cdf files and sort them on the computer,anyways im gettin peed off of having to sort all of my channels every bloody time i lose a channel say espn for example,after i rescan the box,i have a max v,on the old blue and red boxes if you autoscanned it wouldnt affect the way the channels were saved not so on the bloody maxv,ive just downloaded the autosort firmware thinking this would help,it may if i knew how?why?,can one of my
fine brothers give me any info on this annoying problem,i looked at the stickys cudnt find nowt

When you are doing a rescan select power scan first and go to FAV SORT turn it off then press EXIT on the remote. Now press Update Channels

All the new channels will appear at the end of your existing channels

You must press the exit button after turning off fav sort otherwise it will mess up your channels again

you only really need to power scan if your not picking up all channels on standard scan as this duplicates channels and takes forever.a channell update will not delete channels.
Menu-Installation-User Installation-Pin enter(0000)-Red.
