I have scanned for different macs on my freinds UBR which is different from mine. And all the MAC's I have found have config files like this Ldd45522d3fdc7ec9.cm etc as I am in brum.

Now I inputted these into my modem with the MAC's and the modem sends/receive's but just keeps on flashing on online.

This is the log from my modem:

7-Information 0x913D0016 IP helper returned error, re-scanning downstream
3-Critical 0x040D9964 DHCP FAILED - Discover sent, no offer received
7-Information 0x848E0005 T500.0 Acquired Upstream .......... SUCCESS
7-Information 0x848E0006 T501.0 Acquired Downstream (331000000 Hz)........ SUCCESS

If any body could help me I would really appreciate it as I don't want to force a config or anything and don't mind what speed I get as long as I am online.

All I can suggest is to keep trying different MAC addresses. What UBR are you on and what UBR is he on? Do you live near each other?
