If you have diamond cable boxes the area is 100% cable and digital. The property most prob has never had cable tv before so never been run to the house. Get the £11 phone package and get a free vbox and they will install the line for you just dont use the phone and put the vbox in the cupboard and your sorted.

When I rang them up a lady who didnt seem to know much just kept saying that it is a cable area but couldnt offer me any of the cable services and that they are working on it but couldnt give me any indication when they will be able to offer it to me. Do they have to put different cables in??

Yes i agree with kai if you want the cable tv, try phoning again and ask for someone who knows what theyre talking about.
