Pace DitV 1000 help

Will a PACE DitV 1000 work in my Area am from Glasgow a currently use virginmedia broadband & Plus i have got a Funcard 4 and a Infinity USB unlimited.

Please Correct me if am wrong this is right?

Find the IRD & BK inside the Box then use the software to program the funcard then insert it into the box & then it should hopefully work.

Please i am struggling i dont know what to do

Hi

Ird is not the issue you can get it from scart inside box or from EM but bk is not inside you can get thet via a paired card and led simm or if lucky from the database.

As far as wether this box would work in your Im not sure as I dont know what your area is but heres a list of boxes and areas.

I picked this list up I think when a member posted it on this forum not sure who.

If box is ok for your area and you got box details then its a question of programming you funcard with the correct info and flash.

You can check the BK database using your IRD number. You can get the IRD from the engineers menu. Get the BK and then download the correct fun file for your area (off the private fta area or toolbar). Using toxic, enter your BK and IRD and also make up your provider ID depending on your ex provider (i.e 24 xx xx xx if you live in ex c&w). this will create the external eeprom. Drag this file to a program called swapbinhex to convert the file to a hex file.

Write the fun4 hex file and your exteeprom to the funcard. Plug it into your pace with the feed so that it updates. I warn you though that the pace 1000 is an old box and its a little bit slow with the interface But a reliable and easy box to do

Oh and make sure you cut the talk back from the box before you plug any cable feed into the box. Then you will need to cut a track with a knife. Simples! Download novice angels guide where there is a diagram on how to do this. You need to remove the top of the box, remove the tuner and open up the tuner.

you can also use led simm to get BK from that box m8.
