hi
i have a surfboard 4200i which i am trying to use does anyone know of a good tut for them also when changing the firmware does the cable feed need to be connected i am new to the modems have done allot with the tv boxes just trying to get my head around these? im in a tw area

If you look in Cable Modem downloads, their should be a tutorial in there. You don't attach the feed when flashing the modem. Only attach it after you have flashed and set the modem up with a working MAC address.

when i try to flash the modem with netboot i get this message

Sending reset request...ok
Waiting for CM to boot...ok
Retrieving CM MAC address...ok (*********)
Sending NetBoot request...error

anyone got any ideas?
