Hi
For the last year my girlfriend has been getting the internet for free. She had cancelled her virgin media connection, but the old setup (Cable to modem to wireless router to PC's/Laptops in the house) kept working This went down last week. Now it only works if she connects it directly from the broadband modem to the PC/Laptop. For some reason the signal seems to stop at the wireless router, and nothing (PC's, phones, laptops etc) will not pick it up. A friend mentioned MAC address filters as the problems, but as neither of us are Tech sophisticated, I did a search and this site was recommened for help. So any ideas what the problem is and how it could be resolved? Cheers Ray |
