The clones do work better if kept cool, something like a laptop cooler is ideal

BTW, TSJ is a dropshipper. This has been confirmed on the digitalworld forums. He also provides NO support for each box he sells and many are faulty. FWIW, I think the Starview HD is a good receiver to buy as you are buying original and it can c/s just like a DM 800S. It has two tuners already built in and it has an ethernet port, though this goes without saying really.

Genuine SV's are only made in one or maybe two factories, but DM 800 clones are made in many many factories, so you cant tell of the quality of some of them. They may not even be able to power a motor correctly

Until DM 800's are researched as much as DM 500's,and become cheaper, I wouldnt purchase one, if you are buying a clone. If you are buying the original thing, go ahead, but personally Id buy an Azbox over a genuine DM 800

Mine came with the HDD installed. I would think you just install the HDD and format.

Hi,
Would it be possible to know the following procedure to take when you receive generously a
config attachment to be transferred to your Dm 800HD clone box.

Thanks in advance for your guidance.
Best Wishes,
kadnor

please re phrase your question because it doesnt make any sense mate.

you want to know how to access the .cfg file is that correct?

if yes then its simple

download a simple FTP proggy like File zila and then configure it and access the box.

from there go to var/etc

and you should have the cccam.cfg file there.

However before you do that u need to download the cccam from the blue panel... i.e gemini server .. or manually install it

from the same file u can also download the .cfg file as well

if you dont have or cant find the cfg file u can create one using an application called dreambox config creator.
