Default General Help Please :)

Hey guys, complete newbie here So for all help, thank you in advance

I have recently moved into a new flat and brought into the world of cable.

I have all three VM Services, TV Phone and Broadband.

The TV package is just the standard cheap M.

I am planning on getting a Eurovox upon recommendation from a friend.

I genuinley don't have a clue what I would need to do etc what other equipment I need.

I looked through the stickys but for just general introduction info, I felt the need to start a new thread.

I am pretty technical, good with pc etc so don't feel the need to dumb down for me

Cheers for help again in advance.

Matt

Anyone any tips on what box to get?

I heard read that when gettin a box that can record you can only record and watch the same channel? And i need a external harddrive as well?

Am not that bothered with regard to recording if that the case.

My really preference is ease of browsing through channels etc

Any tips on what box is right for me?

Thanks for all the replies!

Had a look through the website given and noticed the 5100 is only £15 more than the 1000 with the capablility for PVR.

My Cable Box TV - eurovox-ex5100-p-120

Does that website supply everything I need?

Thanks Again

p.s is this the best site too use or is there better deals/people to get them from

For simplicity I recommed the eurovox 1000 SL.
I also recommend Lincsat You will get a 5% discount (search forums) and genuine next working day delivery, The box is basically plug and play.

I have no connection with this seller other than being a satisfied returning customer.
