can anyone help me please
i have the ex1000sl connected to vista pc with rs32 and rs32 to usb lead of which i had to download driver , that was successful
it was orignal using com 13 but through device manager i changed that to com 3 even tho that was in use
when i go to save my CDF i click on upload a box comes up with com3 and the start button which is not active so nothing happens
then when i click on the main firmware download button another box comes up with COM 3 and the start button wich is active this time
So i click on start and get the message
"the reciever was not detected " "if you want to download the firmware in boot mode click OK and AC power on your reciever "
Also COM 3 is selected
So i click on OK and the next message is
" waiting for the response of your reciever "
i am really fed up PLEASE HELP ME

You need a null modem cable firstly , it will work then

try changing the com port to 1 or 2. It is very hit and miss with this so if one doesnt work the other one might.

i have tried it with 4 different ports COM1 , COM2 , COM3 AND COM 4

Also COM 3 is selected

use boot mode, while eurovox is connected to pc switch evx off and then on at the mains, alternatively, pull lead out of back of evx and then plug in again, should sort it.

Most likely be vista, had this problem a while back, then used the kids pc which was on XP and worked no problem..just a thought...jay

Are you using an rs232-USB? If all else fails, I guess you can buy a PCI card
