We'll get to the bottom of it one way or another mate!

Good luck and let me know how you got on / any issues experienced, the more detailed you can be the more likely we can get it sorted

I have organised all my channels whilst trying to lock the adult channels into a fav group I managed to set a pin that I do not remember

I did some research on here and discovered the "Master PIN" for 7000HD is 6502...worth noting for future

Cheers for that one mate.

Does this mean your favourites are now working correctly?

My favourites still playing up. I have sorted my main list. I then rename the favouries in the manager on the ex7000. I go through and then press 1 - 8 next to the channels to select which group it should be in. Save. When I then press Fav button and select a group they seem to be all over the place. Cant work out. Might just put up with having the main list for now.

I never sorted into favs.
I sorted channels BBC 1 = Number 1...BBC 2= Number 2 etc etc...
I did discover....(you guys will know already) that when uploading to the STB you need to upload the Application.tbn 1st.....Then the channel.tbn.

Compared to the Eurobox 1000SL which has sensible menu's and is easy to set up the 7000HD is so much hard work.

Keep in touch chaps

Hey ebe, Does the App.tbn hold the favourites data then? I have only been using the channel.tbn

I think it would.
If you do not upload the Application.tbn 1st (and each time you make changes to the usb drive) the STB does not seem to load it and just reboots itself after a few secs (you do not see a progress bar)
Just make sure you have saved your changes on your desktop.
