Default Unlocker

As an Windows user you might have encountered situations where you attempt to delete a file and Windows says it can't be deleted because it's "in use by another program or person," or something similar. Unlocker is a new way to delete / free up the locked file (or folder) without rebooting. Unlocker works as an explorer shell extension. To release a locked file you just right click on the file and select Unlocker from the context menu. Unlocker will then guide you through the rest of the process. Unlocker works most of the time, takes about 5-10 seconds to work but this sure beats rebooting your PC, a very huge convenience. Free for private and commercial use the 182 KB Unlocker v1.8.1 for Windows 2000 and later can be downloaded at http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ (Source: Support Alert newsletter)

I hate it when Windows does that! It is one of the ways it stops responding. I'm not going to download that though, if Windows is so bad with in use programs then using that could be harmful to the system.
