Default Eurovox ex1000sl - standby?

Hi

This is probably a stupid question (so apologies in advance!) but is it always best to leave the box on over night as in blue light?

I've been putting it on standby (red light) over night but just wondering if that has any affect on it?

Trix.

On my TV, I switch it off when not in use, but downstairs they get a little annoyed waiting a measly 30 seconds for the EPG to refresh. I switch mine off to save the pennies
