Eurovox 7000HD: Channels freezing / Low signal?

Hello all

I've got a new 7000HD box, from a reliable site and I made sure it's not a clone. After flashing and scanning it, I got all the channels, however some of these freeze briefly quite often.

And some of the HD channels (ESPN, MTV, BBC) after a few freezes they will just freeze completely and the only way to make them work again is to change the channel back and forth.

Since not all the channels have this issue, I'm thinking it might be a signal problem, however my internet connection is working at max speed (I'm not downloading or uploading anything at the moment, just normal browsing), and tried back my old Starview 4 box, and the signal is perfect on this box.

Is there something I could do to fix this issue? Any reply will be appreciated.

Are you connected with scart leads?

be interesting to hear why scart leads make a difference!

check your feed, id agree the problem is there bad connection maybe? dodgy splitter? dodgy patch lead maybe?

I'm connected through HDMI, since there's no way to watch the HD channels through scart, I did however try out with scart to see if there was any change, since quavis mentioned it might be a bad connection, but this wasn't the case. I tried my PS3 HDMI cable, and the result was the same too.

I would rule out the dodgy splitter since I never had any problems with my previous box (Starview 4)
