hi all

i have a modded tv drive telewest box had the card done about a year ago and has been fine

until today i have only got basic channels and tv drive does not work it says error 2001 and that i don't subscribe to these services which i have xl package

have rung virgin they said it could be 5 days before sorted out . told me to switch box off and sent info down the line but didn't work

what should i do ? my other friends box who had it done at the same time has gone off as well( she has already put her viewing card in the mircowave to wipe it )

any advice would be a great help

I believe that microwaving the card fries the ATR so that if/when the CC decide to come knocking, their is no trace of the card ever being modded because it is dead

That’s the idea m8!! But why would he call VM if the box has been moded, the the TB was not cut then they must have all the info on what channels he’s been watching

when putting cards in the microwave you must allways put in a jacket potato and beans

tried to ring but it was a year ago and his number has changed cannot get hold of him
