So as anticipated my signal went at 5:30ish for the 3rd day running, the attenuator has made no difference but it seems to be an issue with signal quality.

I have been looking at signal quality and it darts from 85 quickly down to below 20 and then quickly back up. The strange thing is that the signal only dips like this from 5:30 to around 8ish. At other times the signal quality is perfectly stable.

Completely baffled!

I've had this issue. What I did to fix it was go to User Installation and edit the channel's frequency. The channel name will not be displayed but a number e.g. 642. Once you go into Edit, then increase the frequency slightly, I did mine by 0.5 and the picture quality was back up!

or it might be yer cable coming from the wall to the box that is fooked thats wit happend to me just had to replace the cable,think there was i kink in it
