Could you help me at all buddy? No problems, I appreciate that you must get annoyed with noobs:P. Basically, I know of 3 people with NTL original boxes, which have died in the area. What information would you need/like to see how we can sort this outt?

Hi, do the cards in the boxes have a picture of a man and do they say 4th generation at the bottom?

Did the four of you get your cards done by the same person?

Not a picture of a man, just ntl in the coloured writing. Will check for the 4th generation thing tomorrow buddy

No need to check, you have a Modified Original Smart Card.

When the cards are written, there is an expiry date. You will need to have this value changed. Traders nomally put an expiry date so that they can charge people to fix their card.

You can do it your self. The kit is less than £20 provided the cards are not locked.

Best thing is to download the cable guide and read up. There are many here who will help you if/when you get stuck

Additionally, we are in the wrong section by the way. This is the Eurovox section.

It depends what cousin your box has. Does he have an original box with a MOSC? If so, read the card in Nagra Edit using a Phoenix programmer and update the rights and expiry dates.

Hi there mate. My firend has this box and is moaning at me to fix it!

Can you send me/PM me a link to the £20 hardware/software that I would require to get him sorted? He has orginal sammy 2100 with card.

I WONT have to do any soldering though will I???
