Ambits Puzzling me

here is the story,

got 3 Ambits (200, 250 and 255) used UGBootloade on all of them, SB5100mod on the 200 and builded my own image using Alex for the 250 and 255 now i seem to have lost P option on the 250 and 255.

I got working max232 (not the one on the other thread) checked the 3 modems and the ambit200 has still got its P option but the other 2 dont, Console unlocker cant get it back coz i have been trying 2 days sor.

how is that possible and how can i get the P back

here some logs from hyperterminal, the 1st one is 255 and the 2nd one is 250

The two logs appear to show the "P" option so I don't know what your issue is.

that is the problem mate coz when i click the P nothing happens and its NOT a connection problem coz the Ambit200 responds if i click P but those 2 modems 250 and 2555 dont ( like when the modems taken the Alex update before) console unlocker doesn't work either

is this right in putty?

host name (or IP address) = 192.168.100.1
connection type = Telnet

then click OPEN

Yes, but it's worth a try. Here is a link for it: PuTTY Download Page. I downloaded the "putty.exe" file.

downloaded it tried but same result there must be something else I am missing or going on.

BTW the sittings are


Connction type = Serial
serial line = com1 (or which eva u using)
speed = 115200

What delays are you trying in Console Unlocker? If you can get it going, flash the old 2.1.6d bootloader on but be sure to hit "P" straight away after you have rebooted .

its not havin none of the delays i started from 2 to 21 the only delay it seems to take is 1 and comes up run time error straight after that and closes the console unlocker.

You get a run time error? I take it you have the OCX files in your C:\WINDOWS\System32 directory?
