As above. All these cards are equally priced(from the same seller) but the funcard 4's seem to be going the quickest, and they only have 1 funcard 1 left. Are there problems with funcard 6's?

I think Funcard 6 and above are used mainly in satellite boxes, the Funcard 4 seems to be popular among cable modders. I have updated quite alot because most boxes that people bring me have Funcard 4s in them. A Funcard 6 should work though so if you can get that at the same price they why not go or it

Hi
Funcard 1 ??? not sure about that, you must mean funcard 2. Funcard 6 are fine and has been said by blakey funcard 4`s are the most popular ones but if they are the same price than would get funcard 6. If there is a significant difference in price then would get funcard 4. Regards |

Even if it is a Funcard 2, it would still work. They are known as Prussian Galaxy cards as well

I used to use Fun Card 2: Galaxy purples from Cardman-UK (now using MOSCs as they last longer).
These just have a smaller memory EEPROM chip but still have 3-4 times as much space as is needed with these cards. TV NEEDS = AT90S8515A and 24c16 Fun 2s have AT90S8515A and 24c64 (64kb eeprom) Fun 4s have AT90S8515A and 24C256 (256kb eeprom) Fun 6s have AT90S8515A and 24C1024 (1024kb/1mb eeprom) Either would work, but if theyr the same price, its always nice to have the best =P |
