hi, i would of posted to a forum but would of thought you'd prefer to be messaged. iam a novice, complete newby, and i have a problem, iam using an unlimited pheonix programmer with software version 2.77 and nagraedit 5.2. i have a virgin card and an ntl card which i would like to get working again, i have set up my port as com3 and the light on the programmer tells me it is connected ok, however when i go to read my card, i get this message

i have no idea what this means and its frustraiting me to the point where i might actually smash up my p.c., all i want is nick jnr on so my little girl will stop doing my head in. please help me mate

Vcp Tutorial.....easy Set Up

1. RESET not REPAIR card with mrom/cardtolls this will give you ird.
2. read card with command priority bug in XNCS this will give you boxkey but wipe ird
3. run a3e/bo9 dc2 file through comms not patch in nagra edit. this will open card to allow reprogramming

and also use nagra edit 4.1 and not the one your using

there lies your answer ....people may add more
