OK I am new to all this. I have a full SKY HD package, although have been cable broadband/phone customer for years with N*L. those nice people at VM rang last week and said I could have a free STB for life.It duly arrived and easily installed upstairs. I then purchased a EuroVox SL100,preloaded with KUROS?, just this week in fact, to `expand` my channel options. Again installed easily an up and running, but I cannot seem to receive SSports. I have done powerscans etc all to no avail, where am I going wrong??
I am connected to VM with 20mb b/band,old n*l system here in the East Midlands. Do I need to input manually if so how and what? Thanks in anticipation

option 1 you need a channel data file for your area with these channels inline you will then need to upload to your box via pc
option 2 do a factory reset then power scan on correct freq/symbol rate (channels will need sorting thou) option 3 manual input the required frequency for ss1 etc but you need to know the freq it is been changed to |

Thanks BKUSER, but this raises a few of questions to me :-
1. Where will I get a `channel data file` 2.If I do factory reset do I loose the Kuros (whatever that is/does?) 3.Where can I get the required frequency info? |

1 here CDF Files for the Eurovox be sure to check the last posts as they are more up to date and should have all channels on them ps make sure its for your area
2 no you wont lose kuros (this is firmware that auto updates your box) no need to enter key manually 3 if you know someone in your area with similar box and working ss get them to press info twice on the required channel the second time they press info in top left hand side it has freq transmitting on basically thats what you need to manually input into your box hope i have answered your questions |
