Default Modem locks on okie?? But no connection

hello thier im having problems with my modem its a ambit 255.
it has haxorware on, i have set it up by changing the settings, feq etc

i know it ant the mac because it works fine at my house but when i come to take it and set it up at my brothers house it locks on okie showing me that its workin by saying operational on the 192.168 page but when i come to check if the net page works eg google it displays page can not be displayed??

i remember my mate saying some areas are dinamic and non dinamic.
what is that? something you change in config page and do i have to change the settings for different areas ???

i have tried to look for the thread with how to do the settings for haxorware cant find it??

is thier one?? could some one give me the link
