Let me get this straight, you want to cancel your Vermin contract and watch TV on your PC yes?

You can do it with satellite, but you will be screwing with yourself if you do.
I am guessing you have an internet connection on your computer which is with Virgin. That internet connection comes down your cable too. What you could do is just cancel your TV and keep broadband with them, then split that signal and have a dreambox, eurovox, kryptview, Pace, Sammy or other box fitted. That way you only pay for your internet connection and you receive that and the full TV package with Sky sports and movies etc. Or do it the other way, keep the phone line with them and you get the basic TV free, then split that signal to a modded modem and replace your crappy TV package subbed box with a dream, eurovox etc etc.. |

lol.. hi man
dont get angry i diconnected my cables long time ago im also connect my PC to my plazma and I tried a bunch of tv for pc programs, the best pv tc program i definitely DTV.. it got more than 2500 channels and its only one time fee.. i using it over a year now and its awsome i think the website is dtv-for-pc.co.cc or without the "-"'s .. anyway you are right its much better than paying monthly for cable or satellite TV. peace, tvmaster. It's either paying £11.50 a month for phone line and crap TV which was the last option I said, or head over to the satellite section.
Buy a dish, a receiver, the cables and fittings - maybe a motor if you want a perfect signal and then ask around the satellite section of this site for how to set them up. That way you connect to a TV sattelite and get free TV using the reciever box (dreambox 600c is a good choice but around £150 + dish + fittings = £300 to set up.) Ask over there for more info about setting it up and what to get |
