Jam Is Stuck, Tech Help Needed

I did a jtag on a Eurovox, and succsefully jtaged it.
when I unpluged from mains to put lid back on and then plugged it back in, it showed 2 dots, so I press reset switch and comes on OK, but behaves eraticly and resets again after 10 minutes.
I then tested this cap (next to reset switch) 50v 47uF and it read 5.2 on my esr tester, so I thought this is high, so I took it out and put this cap on an Atlas esr meter and it shows:
OPen Circuit Or Low Capatitence, so I am assuming this is shagged am I right on this assumption!
So I sent off for some and on the caps they sent it shows 50v 0.47uF.
Is this a 47uF or a 4.7uF cos I know it's Deffo a 50v 47uF I need to put in.
When I put one of these I sent for, the box will not rest at all no matter how many times I try switching it on and off at mains.
So I thinkk these caps they sent me are bad.
Any help on this appreciated.

it seems they gave you the wrong value caps, going by your post
and if you do have the correct value your probably a knowlegable peson, but are you sure you put the cap in the right way round, its an easy mistake if your not thinking about it
