Default link for ex7000.pls help..

hi can anyone help me find a link so i can download the latest firmware for my ex7000 as it has scrambled channels, i dont have a memory stick but do have the rs232 cable..

please help...

You would really be alot better borrowing one (USB stick), or buying one, as AFAIK the rs232 is used only when USB flashing should fail, so I wouldn't know how to flash by this method.

I do recall there being something in the manual about flashing by rs232, might be worth a quick read!

Can you not borrow a friends (USB stick) or make a one time investment? 1GB sticks are less than £5 these days, you can pickup smaller ones for even less!

hi thanks for your help i have now managed to put the new software on the box, and have got the channels up and running, thanks for your help on that one...

i now have the problem of sorting the favorites out and channels like bbc have downloaded with the subtitles? any idea's on these.. not a very user friendly system this one, my max v was much easier..

The best way to organise the chanels i find is to use the STBM program to edit them on a pc and then upload the TBN file to the box.
The favourites options don't seem to work very well in my experience but there are a few post on here if you search.
