I was lucky in that I tried just filling in all the frequencies I needed from the top of the list and this showed up only about 10 or so that weren't being scanned, so I didn't need to find many.

I then went through each channel that I had Freeview on, I went into Edit the Channel in the Guide, then Edited Sources. This showed three entries for each freeview channel - one with good signal, then one either side with much lower signal that wasn't selected. Did this on BBC1, ITV1, and Five (as I know they're on different MUXes in my area) and that gave me 9 frequencies that I was able to use to put my "missing" DVB-C frequencies into.

Hope that helps mate.

DVBLink have some software (MBFreqDetector) that captures all the frequencies when you press scan in media center and then saves then to an .ini file, it is quite useful. I cant remember which package it is in but if you download both the DVBSBridge files for DVBViewer it is in one of them.

you don't need to use DVBViewer just the frequency detector but it is rolled up with one of the two downloads i mentioned, it is under legacy dvbsbridge products
