Default Assistance regarding Speed

Hiya Guys

I was just looking for some pointers here and knew there would be a few here with far superior knowledge than me!!

Over the last few days I have noticed that when watching Youtube Videos and visiting some sites that my speed has been so slow. I have tried virus scans, ad removal programs and clearing out my laptop and connected PC (which also run slow on net now)

I have a Surfboard Modem connected to a netgear router

Any pointers...is it the modem which may have went down..here is speed test results just done.

Download - 0.25mb/s
Upload - 0.18mb/s
Ping 81ms

Server Derry - 200mi

Massive thank you in advance!

I hard wired from router to PC and the same, ditto to the laptop!

Tried going from modem to laptop hard wired and could only grab local connection, would not go on net I just can not seem to get it to work that way.

Just been on the wife's laptop all afternoon clearing it out as well and her connection wireless is very poor too. I can not watch a youtube video as it will not buffer fast enough and just 4 days or so ago there was no problem.

I am stuck

I have not changed router mac...how do I go about that?
