Hi All

I have recently purchased an AMBIT 256 loaded with haxorware ...

I have scanned for mac's at a friends house & got it up & running fine, the problem is I can only find 2mb configs ....

Config filename etc:

IP = 10.255.22.47
Subnet = 255.255.252.0
Gateway = 10.255.20.1
Tftp = 10.137.103.6
Config = Lfa7a6885f7b73a5d.cm
Time = 62.253.131.32
Dhcp = 62.253.131.32
TransID = 2401BA8C
Int = 100

I have tried forcing with : cmreg-ntlhm256-rts22.cm as its the only config I seem to be able to find but it doesnt work .....

Any ideas ? or hints on where to find a suitable config ? Its a pure NTL area btw.

Hmm, most 2MB customers are being upgraded to 10MB now. As for forcing the config, you probably can't do it because your area has gone dynamic. Do the config files have .cm at the end?

you're dynamic now so you cant force. the mac will be given what ever config its meant to have. so will have to do a search for mac on different ubr to you and test them out till you get 20mb.

sorry just read it all lol you will have to search some more till you get a mac thats meant to have 20mb.

im able to force 10mb mac to 20mb using cm-20480-768

my area is dynamic as well.

The same in my area its gone dynamic back in early summer have been able to force cmreg-vmng300-rts50.cm with no problems as of yet!

hello peeps, going to my friends house 2morow and gonna try and snoop for some mac's but dont know how to use/get config files, think i know how to save the data on DHCPForce, any help people would be ace..

in haxorware go to http://192.168.100.1/ then click config file on the left, then put in cm-20480-768 in the file name. then save and reboot.

cheers m8, been round to my m8's house and used dhcpforce and got around 100 macs, did have more but didnt know how to save the results so i lost them all, figured it out and only had time for the hundred or so. gonna try haxorware in a few mins. will get back..
