I have a bush digital tv recorder-I want to set it up so that i can use it with my virgin tv digital facility, rather than get a virgin v+ box.

When I turn on the DTR it keeps saying that I must first scan for freeview channels. I dont have a freeview feed and want to bypass this freeview set and simply set up the DTR and use its recording facility for my virgin channels.

Does anone know or have experience of how to do this?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
