rom 11 to fun

hi all
i am trying to update a rom 11 card because of the dates issue
i have only done funcards and atmega so i'm new to mosc rom 11 (just updating flash mainly)
i have infinity usb proggy, nagraedit 4.1 , xncs 1.8 and toxic7
i have the ird and bk written on the bottom of the box
i been trying now for about 9 hours (lol)
entering bk,ird,public keys etc but all i keep getting is atr invalid or no atr from card
i have usb and serial connected and have tried phoenix mode and normal mode
can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong?
also is it possible to make a fun card from scratch which will replace the card that i am working on, if so how is it done ?
(i have probably fried this one but i have another rom11 that i have'nt tried yet)

any help greatly appreciated

sounds like either bad connections with ur programmer or ur mosc card is chinned m8

first of all you need to put your infinity in phoenix mod and tick 3.68 MHz from the menu then it will store it self in your taskbar, then open your Nagraedite 4.1 and check the port to see if it's the same port as your infinity, then follow this tut, you will get your card sorted m8;

Setting up you Mosc card
Open you card in Nagra 4.1 and click on read from card “blue arrow” if you card is unlocked then all the details will be displayed, then click Data Editor “underneath the blue arrow” then follow these steps to set up your Mosc card;
* Tier: '01 IRD Info (41)’:
*Edit the sub tiers:
-IRD number (enter your IRD number “backwards” in normal format)
-BoxKey (enter your BoxKey number in normal format)
* Tier: '06 Provider Info (58)’: This is where you enter your Cam Id;
(you can make up a combination of numbers/ letters to replace xxxxxx use 1, 9 & A, F)fficeffice" />>>
-TW Cam ID starts with 2CXXXXXX example 2C31E7D1>>
-CW Cam ID starts with 27XXXXXX>>
-Pure Cam ID starts with 24XXXXXX>>
* Tier: '08 Standard tier (31)’: Edit the sub tiers:
-Expiry Date (using Nagradate - enter a future date in here in hex format)
-Rights Date (using Nagradate - enter a future date in hex format MUST be different to expiry date)
-Rights Identifier (TW: 9896D9 or Pure: 9896D6)
-Min Channel (keep as 0001)
-Max Channel (any number between 1000 and 32415 - make sure you convert this to hex format using Windows calc)
-Modification Date (can be altered to any date in the past - just to make your image unique -- hex format)
-Begin Date (can be altered to any date in the past - must be a date before the modification date you enter - hex format)
For all the dates you can use NagraDate Converter “it’s in the download section” so you can change the date from Dec to Hex, example “21/07/2009 = 24A7”
Once you’ve done all that click on write to card in Nagra 4.1 (Red Arrow) then insert the card in your box, if everything was done correct you should get all the channels, if not just go over it again and correct any mistakes.

atr string invalid
does this mean i've trashed the card ?

I had this yesterday with a new laptop I just forgot to tick phoenix mode as I left it on smartmouse.

sorted card with romstudio backdoor tab
had to change settings/phoenix/rx delay from 130 to 150
then all went well
changed date and wrote card
all working

iam having exactly the same problem, ports ok but cannot unlock card, any ideas anyone?

here we go
connect programmer (mine is infinity usb)
you need serial connection and usb connection
open infinity software
click on phoenix
settings = frequncy 3.68 reset polarity = phoenix (not smartmouse)
click enable and software will minimize to taskbar
now open romstudio software
click on backdoor tab
click on settings/phoenix at top and set rx delay to 150
(mine was on 130 and would not work)
then go to dump (bottom left)
click on dropdown arrow and login aprendiz
you should see card reading at bottom
when done go fat editor
you will see tier 8 twice on the left
you need to change both of these
click on one (tier 8)
where it says rights date change number to 5533(or any date in the future, these numbers are dates in hex format)
do the same for other tier 8
now in backdoor go to write at bottom and login aprendiz
your card should now write

thanks for that mate, all went well until i tried to write to card then i got an error message saying error writing card, also it looks like all my info on my tier 8 tab has been erased back to zero, is this normal? if not what does it need to be set at. 8 days trying to crack this card now but the longer its taking me the more determined iam to crack the b*stard.
