Default Just a quick question....

On VM V plus boxes. I bought a v plus box of my sister which worked fine at her house. I put it in my house and I can't get the V+ menu to work , the tv guide dont work. I've changed the batteries and have used the control on a different v+ box and they work fine.

Do VM send a signal down the line for the box to work properly, or is the box no good. The box has not been modified in anyway. Everything is the same as it came out of the box.

Thanks for any advice

Do you receive any channels at all , should you get subcription channels remove the card now and get it unlooped before it gets hit with the dreaded BK

try something simple mate, make sure the scart lead is in the top socket. if you do a card and your from the same area , attach a 50 db noise blocker to the back and your good to go..

it will be due to the NET ID on the box all areas have diff NET IDS do as the post above says take out the card do not put the cable feed in the box at all and get the card unlooped b4 the card gets hit r u will be in big s##t as the card will come back with a fake BK (box key) if it is the NET ID more than likely if the box has come from somewere else u will have to do a funcard to change the NET ID in the box and then u can prog the card with a new image and away u go all ch
