Question First motorised system

I spoke to Southern Satellite on Tuesday, I didnt want anything too expensive, for now anyway, until I "get into" all of this.
I ordered a 100mm dish, a Twin lnb, a Dreamlink DL500 receiver, and a DISEqC H-H Motor, it arrived today while I was at work. I have opened both boxes...........yikes, I never realised 100mm was soooo BIG, as for all the other stuff I've just closed the box for now, I need to read the "destructions" before I do anything.
The question is my back garden faces app SE, I have an old Sly dish still up on the back wall (about halfway along), will I be okay mounting the new dish in the same place or do I need to move it to the West corner of the house.
Thanks in advance.

If you post a photo of the sky dish on the wall, and another one, looking from the wall we should be able to let you know.

100mm is not very big for a dish at all - any chance you really mean 100cm ?

Have a look on this site locate your house and see if your current dish location is shadowed from the beams of satellites you wish to receive.
A 100cm is a little on the large side to mount on a higher pole (wind loading) so the western corner may well be preferable.

If your garden is facing South East you might get away with mounting your dish at ground level, depending if you have a clear line of sight to get you all the viewable satellites.
First you need to discover where True South is, you can do this using your Sky dish, that is pointing at 28.2E, which means it is pointing 28.2 degrees East of South, so if you move 28.2 degrees West it gives you approxiamtely South.
If you stand behind your Sky dish, pointing at the Astra 2 satellite, and move 28.2 degrees to your right you roughly have South.
You can then work out where best to situate your dish to give you a clear line of sight to get 45 degrees East and 45 degrees West of south, this will give you access to nearly all the available satellites, and all the most popular ones.

Looking at dish pointer, from the position on the back wall satellites to the East shouldn't be a problem, but I will only just get 45deg West (if I'm lucky), Although I would prefer a ground mount I cant see a way to put the dish in the garden...we have 6 ft fences all round and the neighbour at the back has a shed about 7.5 ft with an aerial on it.
Has anyone used a Konig sat finder kit, I've seen one on internet for 12.95, has compass and sat metre.

I've just had a rather unpleasant operation, which precludes me finishing the setup, can anyone recommend an installer in the Chester area pls.
