Default Internet intervering with Eurovox?

When i got my Eurovox i bought a 2 way splitter and couple of leads for it, Got my lead from my broadbox running into the splitter and the 2 leads one screwed into my broadband and the other into the Eurovox.

When i first set it up i noticed when ever a new page was loading up on the internet the channel would jump like crazy/say bad signal untill the internet page stopped loading up. But i rested my wire and splitter over the corner of a shelf and it stopped doing it,
The Eurovox was fine whilst browsing the internet i could watch tv and surf,Every now and again if the wires got knocked it would start it again but i just had to repositon the wire over the shelf and it would stop doing it. ( which is wierd cause its not picking up a signal like a ariel would do so don't know why that helps?)

Any way ive moved the wiring a bit the other day and now it is doing it all the time again now, no matter where i put the lead/splitter every time im browsing the i-net it keeps making the channel jump, Its wierd if i put the splitter near the floor the channel constanly jumps but if i lift it up in the air and rest it over the shelf it stops jumping all the time but it jumps when a new internet page is loading/refreshing. I don't get it? Its cable not satilite anyone know whats going on.

My broadband box & Eurovox are near each other the Eurovox is lower down on the Tv stand and the broadband box is higher up next to it on the computer stand, The black leads i got with the splitter are only short they are really stiff and not that flexiable compared to the white virgin lead which the live feed is coming down so i have to keep them near each other.

Can any one help its driving me crazy, ive tried moving the splitter behind the telly/ to the right of the computer stand but the best place is inbetween the tv/computer table resting on a shelf on the computer table, But its not stopping the interfering any more...... Thanks in adavnce

I would buy new cables for your splitter as it sounds almost definitely like a dodgy connection somewhere so start with the cables and replace them. It may also be the splitter itself. Check all connections are correct and tight if they are then get new cables.

cheers

Dunno but, maybe one of these may help you if you stick it inline before the Eurovox..

Signal Filter - Noise Blocker

There's others on Ebay from UK sellers for just a little more..

I bought the splitter and cables from a shop near me, He made the cables in front of my but they are a bit crap the f connecter keeps coming of the end of the lead if you pulled it slightly, So i had to keep screwing it back on to the lead.
So i ordered a new splitter and leads of ebay got 'em yesterday and it is perfect now, No interfernce what so ever. Think it must have been bad cables, The cables that came with this one are much better.

Thanks for the replys.

99% of problems are caused by poorly terminated cables, looks like this was another case of 'the cowboy cabler'.
