Default Help with Eurovoxs please

hi at the weekend a mate of mine gave me 5 eurovoxs that were just lying around in his shed, they were ones people had returned to him because of various faults, after swapping a few PSU's and Tuners i have managed to get 3 boxs to power up and display the menu on screen, however i cant get any channels on any of the 3 boxs -

i know its not the coax cable or the signal itsself as i have 2 new eurovoxs that work fine on that connection.

i think i have worked out that 1 of the boxs is a RED eurovox and another one is a BLUE eurovox as for the 3rd i believe it to be a cloned maxV as power cable to the mainboard is the twisted type i have been told to watchout for.

i have flashed all the boxs with what i believe to be the latest for each but not sure ?and the flashing software says that it was sucessfull everytime but i still cant get any channels. date release for each firmware was 1/12/08 (as advised on another fourm) but once flashed the boxes still show the dates of previous firmware?

i can get the maxV to find TP's but no channels at all and i cant get TPs or channels on the blue or red boxs

please can anyone help me! i can provide further information if you require it

Thank you

they still show the older dates because the new firmware was only an updated version as opposed to a new build.
upload a channel data file from one of your working boxes and put it on the other three boxes and see what you get

I've seen a few with faulty tuners that look similar to that.
